Red Flowering Maple – Abutilon – Great Indoor Plant!
Although the flowering maple (Abutilon hybridum) may be grown outdoors in warmer regions (Hardiness Zone 8), it is most often grown as a house plant. The flowering maple is not really a maple at all. That common name is derived from their maple-shaped leaves. The Abutilon is also commonly known as a Chinese bellflower or a Chinese lantern. The blooming season for most Abutilons is from April through June, but they will often flower periodically through the winter as well if given sufficient light. Flowering Maples prefer a window location with lots of sun. Keep evenly moist, not wet or dry. Fertilize once a month, spring through fall with a general purpose house plant food. Trim as neede. The plant you will receive is growing in a 4″ pot. The size varies with the season.

Italian Herb Garden Trio: Indoor Garden Gift Set incl. 3 planters, dip tray, seeds, peat soil pellets. Reviews

This is another thing I bought from this seller that has been a great buy! The herbs I’m growing are healthy and taste amazing. For under 15 bucks, I’m surprised at how great this herb garden is. I would definitely recommend it above other more expensive ones even! I have more than enough fresh herbs for cooking, and multiple people have commented on how pretty the little garden is when they come over. It grows right on my kitchen windowsill and looks so nice in the little container that came with it! Thanks again, I’ll be back!!

This was fun and easy to plant in the beautiful pots! Within days, the plants had germinated and I had sprouts! I also ordered the mexican herb garden!

Arranged in 3 sections – “Blooming houseplants”, “Foliage houseplants” and ‘Houseplant Care,” the tops of the pages are color-coded for fast access. A troubleshooting guide provides characteristics of what to look for if a plant is in trouble and what you should do about it. Plants with various varities, like bromeliads, bulbs, cacti, orchids, ferns and palms are covered in more expanded sections. The color photos (included for each plant) are outstanding. The final chapter, “Houseplant Care,” covers aspects such as containers, fertilizers, insect pests, propagation, plant characteristics and identification tips, terrariums and watering techniques.
