This was pretty much a big money saver for us on a trip to Disney World. The real problem is that you have to find those single-serve formula packets and match them up with sufficiently small water bottles. We wound up getting the 16.9oz bottles, drinking 1/2, and then using 2 packets of formula singles to make an 8oz bottle. There are smaller bottles of water out there, and you could conceivably use something other than the single-serve formula packets. But the real winner was the on-the-road convenience of not having to lug 5-10 baby bottles in our luggage. We really economized our packing and were able to pack a week’s worth of clothes and supplies into 3 carry-on bags. We used the savings on checked luggage fees to have groceries – including bottled water for the Flipple – delivered to our hotel room.

I bought this sippy about 1 year ago. I liked that this bottle has a lid on the spout, so I bought it instead of the Klean Kanteen. Problem is that my 15 month old wants to feed himself, and he can’t read that you aren’t supposed to pull up on the spout (you’re supposed to push the white rim to push the spout up). Well, my little guy ended up breaking the spout. I called the company to get a replacement for the cap several weeks ago. They said they would send me a complimentary one. I haven’t seen it. So I bought the Klean Kanteen with the sport lid (which has a small cap) like the one I use and he really likes drinking from a container that’s just like the rest of the family.

My 26mth old son loves his new water bottle. It is safe and free of nasty chemicals, stainless so it is a germ fighter, and super easy to clean. Keeps his water/juice/milk cold for a long time. No leaking and is easy to hold and minupulate for him. Highly recommend if your child is ready to move on from straw cups and sippy cups. We will be getting more in this size and the 12oz as well for when he starts preschool.
